Statistics on outages and disturbances

The Elektrizitätsstatistikverordnung (Electricity Statistics Ordinance) 2016, the Elektrizitäts-Energielenkungsdaten-Verordnung (Electricity Intervention Data Ordinance) 2014 and the Netzdienstleistungsverordnung Strom (Ordinance on Electricity System Service Quality) as amended in 2013 mandate that statistics on outages and disturbances on the electricity system be drawn up and published annually. For an international comparison of supply reliability across European countries, please consult the Benchmarking Report published on a roughly bi-annual basis by the Council of European Energy Regulators (CEER).
