Feed-in tariffs for renewable power plants

Renewable electricity injected into the grid in accordance with the statutory requirements by supported generating stations attracts subsidies in the form of renewable feed-in tariffs paid by Abwicklungsstelle für Ökostrom AG (OeMAG), the green power settlement agent. Hydropower plants with a capacity of up to 20 MW can also opt for for investment grants.

The applicable feed-in tariffs are set in the Einspeisetarifverordnung (Feed-in Tariff Ordinance). You can find the current ordinance and information on historic levels of feed-in tariffs on our German pages.
