E-Control-Statistikbericht
Die E-Control ist gesetzlich zur Durchführung von statistischen Erhebungen für die elektrische Energie sowie für die gasförmigen Energieträger verpflichtet und veröffentlicht diese Daten laufend hier auf der Homepage im Statistikbereich. Darüber hinaus sind die jährlichen Auswertungen der E-Control mittlerweile auch unentbehrliche Werkzeuge für all jene geworden, die sich in ihrem täglichen Arbeitsleben mit elektrischer Energie oder mit Erdgas beschäftigen.
Die E-Control hat sich deshalb entschlossen, eine eigene Statistikbroschüre mit den wichtigsten Daten zum österreichischen Strom- und Gasmarkt herauszugeben. Darin werden in übersichtlicher und komprimierter Form einerseits allgemeine Informationen wie volkswirtschaftliche und energiewirtschaftliche Daten und Daten zur Mengenstatistik sowie andererseits umfassende Informationen zur Marktstatistik wie Liberalisierungseffekte im österreichischen Strom- und Erdgasmarkt, Zahlen zum Groß- und Einzelhandel und vieles mehr geliefert.
Die Broschüre soll allen an energie- und marktwirtschaftlichen Zusammenhängen Interessierten einen schnellen Überblick über die wichtigsten Statistikdaten bieten. Sie wird jährlich aktualisiert.

Key statistics
E-Control is mandated by law to draw up the Austrian electricity and natural gas statistics and to publish them at our website. Among these publications are our annual statistical reports, which have become key tools for all those who work in the areas of electricity and natural gas.
In these brochures, we present key data on the Austrian electricity and natural gas markets in an effort to give an overview of the Austrian economy as a whole, the energy industry and volume trends and to offer more detailed information from our market statistics, such as switching rates in gas and electricity or facts and figures about our wholesale and retail markets.
The brochures are meant as a quick introduction to the most important statistical information for all those who are interested in finding out about developments and interrelations on the Austrian energy market. And as the market develops, so do we: our brochure will be updated annually to keep you informed.
